Making a Positive Impact

Four Ways We Commit to Making a Difference

Practice business ethically. Develop our diverse global teams. Give back to our communities. Preserve the environment.

These four pillars of our corporate responsibility programs are rooted in our Company’s core values; we understand that how we conduct business is important not only to our employees and shareholders but also to the communities where we live and work. As such, we are committed to, and hold ourselves accountable for, ensuring that we make a positive impact on the communities in which we operate.

Do business the right way, ethically and with integrity.

Our commitment to ethical business practices provides the foundation of our Company’s culture and extends throughout the organization—to every employee in ATC Uganda. One of the important components of this pillar is our ethics and compliance training, which has proven useful in helping employees understand their role in ensuring compliance.

Embrace our differences and invest in the career development of our diverse team members.

ATC Uganda has grown to more than 80 employees. We embrace our differences—not only so we can leverage the diverse talents of our team members but also because we believe in treating each other with respect. Because employees are our greatest asset, ongoing investments in career development throughout the organization are a priority. We believe that by providing every employee with targeted development opportunities, we can position them well for professional success. Demonstrate our commitment to our communities.

ATC Uganda connects to our local communities to promote the quality of and access to education. Since 2012 ATC Uganda has been providing technological resources i.e computers to facilitate the schools’ computer Labs and other educational materials. Furthermore, ATC Uganda has provided building materials and supervised the building of class room blocks and example is at Law and Joy primary school  in the central region of Uganda.

Focus on sustainable growth and reduce our environmental footprint—in the office and in the field.

We continue to seek ways to enhance our commitment to environmental preservation. In Uganda, we continue to explore alternative power solutions for our sites. For example, ATC Uganda centralized Power solutions allow network operators to focus on core business, improve revenue and minimize the capex Investment for power equipment and reduction in carbon footprint.
